JUNE 2nd SESSION will be held in the Greene Room and is the introductory session.
Quilters Corner class was formed to provide a place for Sewing and Quilting Club (SAQ) members that are new to quilting to make quilts.
• The group will meet monthly in the SCA Sewing and Quilting room.• The class is open to new members that have completed Quilting 101, have graduated from Basic Sewing (if applicable) or have been in the SAQ club for 3 years.• The members must be new to quilting.• The members are responsible for all the supplies needed for the construction of the quilt.• Projects will be decided upon by the instructors with consensus from the class members.• Each project will take up to six months. You must sign up for all six sessions.• Projects will be scheduled twice a year (Jan-Jun and Jul-Dec)• The class must have a minimum of 8 members.• Discussion will include how to choose patterns and material, methods to piecing, binding techniques, and general questions on quilting.
