Students will learn how to create a collapsable trash can in two different sizes. Student must identify if they wish to build the smaller version or the larger. Contact instructor to confirm the fee.
SUPPLIES: Fat Quarter Fabric
Additional supplies will be updated closer to the date of the class.
The club has generously paid for the pattern and wire insert for a small trash can.
These are required materials you will need to provide for class:
1/4 yd for outer fabric
1/4 yd for inner fabric
1/2 yd midweight fusible stabilizer( SF101 Shapeflex by Pellon recommended)
4 Large Safety Pins
Matching thread
Marking Pencil for fabric
Sewing kit
Prior to class please do the following:
Cut outer fabric to 7 1/2" x 18 1/2" First measurement is the height if using directional material
Cut inner fabric to 7 1/2" x 18 1/2"
Cut two 7 1/2 x 18 1/2 of stabilizer and fuse to outer and inner fabric.
Bring rest of material to class to make bases and ties.
