SKILL LEVEL: Beginner
This class will teach the construction of a Pop-Up Trash can, using a pop-up spring and fabric. It can be used in a car, or your sewing room!
SUPPLIES Needed:
¼ yard for outer material
¼ yard for inner material
½ yard stabilizer (SF101 Shapeflex Pellon is recommended)
Matching Thread
Marking pen or pencil for material
Sewing kit
Pop-Up Spring – will be provided by the Sewing Club
PRIOR TO CLASS:
Cut the inner and outer material to 7 ½ x 18/12 inches The first measurement is the height if using directional material. Fuse pieces of stabilizer to each piece. Bring the rest of the material to the class.
